Photo Journal Project - Game 1
As I tore the Game 1 tickets from the pack, I was excited to check out where my upgraded seats would be for the season.

All I had for this game was an average 5.0 Megapixel Cannon, but I will be bringing a high-grade camera (with telephoto lens) to future games, so consider this a test run for the Ninerzone.com Photo Journal Project. This project is dedicated to bringing readers a fan's perspective of the game. Future installations of this project will include all aspects of the experience, from top parking lot BBQ setups to unusual fan gear.
Game notes: After last week's ugliness in Oakland, I was bracing myself for another single digit offensive performance. To my surpirse, it turned out to be arguably the best pre-season game that I've ever attended. Not only did we own the Packers (the Packers have had our number so much over the years, even beating them in preseason is special), but we possibly witnessed a star in the making: Josh Morgan (5 receptions, 114 yard, and one hell of a touchdown catch and run).

Unfortunely, the good guys do their pregame warmups on the other side of the field, so we were stuck watching these busters in putrid green and yellow.

I'm damn proud of myself for catching a shot of the fireworks during team introductions.

Or even better, fireworks while Gore is on the sweet new mega screen.

This year's crop of cheerleaders is top notch, and performs regularly right in front of our seats.

Did you say you wanted a closer shot?

If you can take your eyes of the girl for a moment, you'll notice something rare: yes, a Nolan jersey!

For a preseason game, the fan turnout looked respectable.

A Favre jersey with a 49ers hat? An abomination!!!

Aaron Rodger (#12), shortly before he takes another hit from the 49ers' pass rush (previously non-exsistent).

All the camermen line up for the goal line touchdown.

Well...that's all for game 1. I took a lot more shots, but most of them were not worth posting. I'm looking to come much stronger on the next installment of the Photo Journal Project.
